Thank you Joni Schockett from #Limmud Boston for hosting the culinary class on Sunday with Susan Barocas from her home in Washington, DC and mine in Zimbabwe. We chatted about the Sephardic kitchen Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.
Susan cooked her delicious Sephardic chickpea dish and I made a presentation with visuals describing my family’s journey to Africa from Rhodes island and our Rhodesli culinary heritage.
We both offered two recipes each which will appear on the Limmud website. I’m sharing one of mine for “Kurabyes“.
